The Tea Bar specializes in gong fu style brewing. Join us at the bar for a special tea experience.

Pourover Tea

Order a cup of freshly brewed pourover Chinese loose leaf tea from our list below. 

Chinese Tea Ceremony

$30

An hour long gong fu cha experience in which we will brew a tea of your choice from our list below using traditional Chinese methods.


This process includes four to ten flash brews equating to around one liter of tea for you to drink during the ceremony or take home with you. 


Drop ins welcome. Reservations preferred. 

Gold & Silver Teaware Tasting

$40

Teaware drastically affects the flavors one experiences while drinking tea. In this hour long tea tasting, we will brew an eligible tea of your choice from our list below using a silver-lined gaiwan with sterling silver-lined and 24k gold-lined teacups for a comparative tasting.


This process includes ten flash brews equating to around one liter of tea for you to drink during the ceremony or take home with you.


Maximum of 2 guests per tasting. Reservations required. 

*Food is not served during the tea ceremony, so please eat before you arrive.

Luxury Chinese Teas

Wild Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Silver Needle) 白毫銀針, Spring 2021

White tea from Dian Tou, Fu Ding, Fu Jian Province, China (~700-1000m elevation).


Sweetest spring water, warmed by the sun and deeply crisp.

Huo Shan Huang Ya 霍山黃芽, Early Spring 2022

Yellow  tea from Jin Ji Shan, Huo Shan, An Hui province, China (~700-800m elevation).


Nutty and floral with hints of salty toasted grains.

Lu An Gua Pian 六安瓜片, Early Spring 2022

Green tea from Qi Shan, Lu An, An Hui Province, China (~250-500m elevation).


Ultimately balanced with umami, nuttiness, and a buttery texture.

Huo Qing 涌溪火青, Early Spring 2021

Green tea from Shi Jing Keng, Huang Tian, China (~700-900m elevation).


Umami, green vegetables, with creamy 

tannins.

You Le Long Pa 攸樂龍帕, Early Spring 2018

Aged green tea from Long Pa village, You Le Shan, East of Lang Cang River, Xi Shuang Ban Na, Yun Nan Province, China (~1500m elevation).


Strong notes of sugarcane. Tender and sweet with clean and delicate tannins. From the micro-terroir lot of Le De.

Xiao Chi Gan 小赤甘, Early Spring 2021

Red tea from Gua Dun, Tong Mu, Wu Yi Shan, Fu Jian Province, China (~1000-1300m elevation).

 

Notes of fresh longan, green dates with high clarity of tender sweetness.

Red tea from Wu Liang Shan, Yun Nan Province, China.


Sweet, earthy, tree bark, apple skin, dates.

Qi Lan 奇蘭, Spring 2021

Yan Cha Wu Long (oolong) from Shi Zi Feng, Wu Yi Shan, Fu Jian Province, China (~300-500m elevation).


Extremely aromatic with notes of wild flowers and grass. Long herbaceous and umami finish.

Lao Cong Shui Xian 水仙, Spring 2021

Yan Cha Wu Long (oolong) from Wu Yi Mountain, Fujian Province, China.


Yán wèi 岩味 ("rock taste"), elegant floral notes layered overtop woody notes.

Que She 雀舌, Spring 2022

Yan Cha Wu Long (oolong) from Mi Tuo Yan, Wu Yi Shan mountains, Fu Jian Province, China (~300-500m elevation).


Rose, citrus pulp, umami.

Refreshing & tannic with prominent peachy note & yolky aftertaste.

Notes of fresh lily with a buttery mouthfeel.
